Doug started with Truckers in 1974 as a Customer Service Representative, and in 1987 acquired the agency with his partner, Gary Albaugh. Today he serves as President of the company. He studied Accounting and Business Administration at Drake University. Doug loves working with a dedicated group of people to provide quality products and services to our agents. He is excited to continue increasing our product offerings, expanding our territories, along with improving our delivery systems! For Doug, everything comes down to the ultimate customers we all represent, the trucker. Doug enjoys golfing, fishing, and traveling. He and his wife, Karen, enjoy spending time with their three children and nine grandchildren, whom offer a multitude of sporting, musical and dance activities for them to attend!
